Applying to College: Overview of the Admissions Process

Join us for a comprehensive overview of the college admissions process. We will cover basic admissions information so that students can learn more about different admissions rounds, how to decide which schools to apply to and what are the components of the application. We also plan to dive deeper into how admissions files are read and what admissions officers look for. Afterwards, we will share resources which can help you dive deeper and learn more about the process for applying to college. The workshop will be a brief presentation followed by open time for Q&A. We hope this workshop provides you with the clarity to approach college admissions well-informed and with purpose.

We recommend this workshop for any high school student. It will be run by Sikh students at Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University.
